With over twenty years of financial experience, David Ring has worked on hundreds of transactions including acquisitions, financings, mergers, strategic relationships and reorganizations – from start-ups to firms with over $50 million in revenue. David has also acted as an adviser to companies with respect to strategy, operations, valuation and pricing, deal structuring. This robust background has taught him to see all sides of any situation enabling him to work through complicated negotiations – gaining the trust of all parties and the best outcomes for Impact clients.
David has built, managed and sold several of his own businesses, directing hundreds of employees, across the United States and Europe. He has completed financings in excess of $500 million dollars.
David’s investment and operating experience includes co-founding Whitehaven, a special purpose institutional investor backed fund that advanced money to litigants against pending legal claims.
David began his career as a principal of a broker dealer, creating a large-scale retail platform along with related investment banking activities. At its peak, David operated eight offices in the NYC area; and after four years he sold his business to an affiliate of Spear Leeds & Kellogg.
David is a graduate of the City University of New York’s Queens College. He is a private pilot and currently is an active member of the US Air Force’s Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol. His hobbies include recreational ice hockey and occasional golf.
David currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
